About NR505

Mission

The aim of the NR505 Student Demonstration Projects is to link students with conservation and education organizations to provide them with real world applications for the GIS concepts they are learning. Each year we partner with a conservation or education organization to provide students in the "NR505 - Concepts in GIS" graduate class at Colorado State University with an opportunity to create a demonstration project that they then present in the form of a website to the partner organization for their final class project. Our mission is to integrate learning with applications.
