This website is a presentation of the data and data analysis techniques used to correlate snow covered area and vegetative growth in a region of northeastern Mongolia.  This project used a Geospatial Information System (GIS) to analyze remotely sensed and other geospatial data, and within this website you will find useful information not only about snow cover and vegetation in Mongolia, but also about the GIS tools and techniques used along the way.  Project data and results are largely contained in the introduction, results, and conclusion pages, which can be navigated to using the sidebar to the left.  Information regarding remote sensing and GIS analysis can be found in the GIS analysis and results pages.
