Welcome to Aubrey Miller and Drew Derderian's NR505 Student Demonstration Project Webpage. This among other projects created by our classmates demonstrates many of the GIS concepts learned throughout the semester. The NR505 full project page is linked here.   GIS Education Through Real World Applications   A state of emergency here at home rallied many of this year's groups to focus on the Colorado flooding of 2013. We also decided to take a look at this years flooding and focused specifically on the Cache La Poudre. We used ArcGIS to analyize various questions of who exactly was most affected by the Poudre's flooding this year and who might be affected by larger floods in the future.   We begin with our Introduction.
